Slatted Base Manual

All LIFETIME Kidsroom beds are sold including slatted bases. You can choose the weight class you want for your bed.

Maximum recommended distributed weight:

Premium slatted base: 200 kg.

How much weight can a bed carry and can an adult sleep in it?

The slatted base determines the maximum weight. For beds with luxury or premium slatted bases, LIFETIME Kidsroom recommends not exceeding 200 kg.

For LIFETIME Kidsroom children's beds in the whitewash colour, LIFETIME Kidsroom uses solid knotty pine wood for all parts of the bed. This emphasizes the natural look of the furniture and the wood grain. The surface of the wood is treated with water-based varnish, which contains fewer white pigments than the white varnish, allowing the natural wood grain to show through. The whitewash varnish leaves some open pores on the surface, which can over time lead to normal slight discolouration. The whitewash colour can be refreshed with the LIFETIME Kidsroom whitewash refresher set Art. 500.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Simply wipe clean with a damp cloth and then dry with a soft, lint-free dust cloth.

Regulate the temperature and humidity in your bedroom, because wood expands in an environment that is too warm or too humid.

Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.
