All LIFETIME Kidsroom beds are sold including slatted bases. You can choose which weight class you want for your bed yourself.

Deluxe slatted base: 200 kg.

Does a deluxe slatted base fit on a bed made for a standard slatted base?

Before 2023, you had to order new bed sides if you wanted to switch from a deluxe to a standard slatted base. Since 2023, LIFETIME Kidsroom has changed the bed side, so it can be used for both options. Depending on the time of purchase, you may need to order new bed sides for this change.

How much weight can a bed carry and can an adult sleep in it?

The maximum weight is determined by the slatted base. For beds with luxury or premium slatted bases, LIFETIME Kidsroom recommends not allowing the maximum weight to exceed 200 kg.

Lacquer Info

For LIFETIME Kidsroom children's beds in the whitewash color, LIFETIME Kidsroom uses solid knotty pine wood for all parts of the bed. This emphasizes the furniture's natural look and the wood grain. The wood surface is treated with a water-based lacquer that contains fewer white pigments than white lacquer, allowing the natural wood grain to show through. The whitewash lacquer leaves some open pores on the surface, which can over time lead to normal slight discoloration. The whitewash color can be refreshed with the LIFETIME Kidsroom whitewash refresher set Art. 500.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Simply wipe clean with a damp cloth and then dry with a soft, lint-free dust cloth.

Control the temperature and humidity in your bedroom, because wood expands in an environment that is too warm or too humid.

Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.
