Deciding to buy a sensory activity board for your toddler is just the first step. Now you have to choose one! And that is not easy. There are many different pin boards. It is easier if you realize that the busy board must meet the needs of your child. Look at the number of elements. An activity board can have many or just a few elements. It is best to choose a board with ten to twenty attachments. Such a number guarantees entertainment without boredom, and will not overwhelm your child, which could happen with too many details.

Of course, the elements on the board must be diverse. It is good to make sure that they stimulate the senses of sight, touch and hearing, and at the same time vary in difficulty. In this way, the board grows with the child and will capture his attention for several years.

Safety is also important. Find out what materials the manufacturer uses and whether the paint is certified child-safe. It is advisable to round off the corners of the board well and smooth the edges.

The appearance of the board is also important. Your board will become part of your child's room. Therefore, it should visually match the interior. At the same time, it should look attractive to your little one, for example with an interesting shape.
