Amazing Child Montessori Roman Arch

This block set allows children to use and learn Roman engineering principles to build an arch that seemingly defies gravity. It is an excellent introduction to architecture and gravity, which also teaches following instructions and problem-solving. The set includes fixed sides and a support structure to enable the arch to be built. Gettman explains how this equipment is used in Basic Montessori.

Please construct with support in place, then remove support, the arch will compress slightly but then show the strength of the arch!
