Luula Climbing Triangle Set Reku

This Emmi Pikler-inspired transformable indoor playground consists of 4 separate interconnecting stairs and a ramp. Four stars are possible to connect in different ways through special connections. The hexagonal shape of the load-bearing edge at the joints provides double stability and durability. With the help of connections, you can create different combinations, according to the age and preferences of the children. It can form two separate triangles that can be connected to a ramp, one high triangle with different angles, or a playhouse, which can also accommodate a table. Or create other geometric constructions of your choice and imagination.

What do children develop with the climbing structure? Climbing, sliding, logical thinking, coordination of movements, orientation in space, spatial sense, balance, muscle strength, and belief in one's ability. In playhouse games, it can be covered with blankets. And also games with everything that rolls—balls, cars—where everything is slid over the slide—children find a great deal of joy and energy.

Babies—they should be allowed to climb on their own, but the adult should always be next to them. Independent play and exploration do not mean careless play.

Material and Safety

This play gym set is made of 15 mm thick natural and very durable birch plywood, which ensures durability and safety throughout its use. The surface of the material is covered with a transparent laminate coating in opal white color, which fully preserves the natural pattern of the wood and gently reflects daylight. The surface is very smooth, warm, and pleasant to the touch, at the same time making the material hard to avoid ugly scratches, abrasions, or stained ink stains. The edges are treated with natural, slightly darker natural oil, thus easily marking the vintage style in the interior.

The load-bearing edges of parts close in the shape of a hexagon. The angles provide extra stability and durability—even if the triangle is tried by an adult.

Triangle

The simple triangular model has been designed with special care for young children. The angle is adapted for safe climbing; its total height is only 50 cm. Triangles are made of two separate parts (60 cm long and 10 cm wide), which are interconnected by a special connection.

Connections

Ramp

Both ends can be connected with a triangle or other climbing components, making them versatile and long-lasting. The ramp serves as a table along with the playhouse. For babies, complete with a ramp, an inverted swing will be the perfect first obstacle to crawl.
